Opera Ballet Vlaanderen (operaballet.be)

is one of the leading opera and ballet houses in the world. Its past is steeped in tradition. Its present is alive with richly varied performances and events.

The project

NubeX migrated all the Opera Ballet Vlaanderen on-premise servers located in 4 different locations to Amazon Web Services (AWS), including the Digital Asset Management platform initially deployed on Microsoft Azure.

The project started with an extended Cloud Readiness exercise that helped Opera Ballet Vlaanderen selecting the ideal Cloud Platform provider both from a technical and cost point of view. AWS was clearly the best fit. The entire project went smoothly. According to budget and plan.

Opera Ballet Vlaanderen decided to continue their cloud journey with NubeX’ Cloud Platform Managed Services (patching, backup, licensing, monitoring, alerting), Cloud Billing Services, Service Desk, Service Delivery Management and DR-as-a-Service which is at the writing of this case study fully operational.
